The Keota Eagle boys and girls golf teams continued their South Iowa Cedar League schedule with a Tuesday triangular at North Mahaska.

The Eagle boys continued their early season mastery of conference foes, winning the team championship with their score of 164, beating the home Warhawks 182 and English Valley’s 200. Porter Cave had the top day for the Eagles shooting a five-over 40 to finish as medalist runner-up. Individual champion was North Mahaska’s Jaxon VanDerVeer with a 38. Other Eagles included Blake Baker and Brennan McGuire each at 41, Aspen Galindo 42, Tucker Sprouse 46 and Jacob Libe 47. Keota is 7-1 on the year.

The Keota girls were second of three schools with a 240 team total. North Mahaska won on their home course with a 201 and English Valleys finished at 244. Top card for Keota came from Brynn Conrad with a 17-over 53. Aly Steil won the individual title on her home course with a 40. Other Eagles included Hadley Cave 60, Halle Heisdorffer 62, and Emily Conger 65. The Eagle girls are 1-4 on the year.
