After another successful season on the court, the Sigourney Savage girls basketball team again finds their stats aligned with the best in Class 2A.

Sigourney helped themselves in a big way. Their 12 turnovers per game were seventh fewest in all of 2A basketball. The Savages connected on 250 free throws this year, fifth most in girls 2A hoops. Sophomore Brynn Clarahan was the leader with 112 makes at the line for the year, second in the state. Junior Bailey Gretter’s 43 were second on the team.

Individually, Clarahan led the state with 176 steals. Her 573 points placed her third in 2A and her 207 made shots from the floor were fifth.

Sigourney finished with a 15-9 overall record, their 11th season in the last 12 with at least 15 wins.
