Washington County Public Health Administrator Jenifer Roberts submitted her resignation in a special meeting held by the Washington County Board of Health on Wednesday. 

Roberts reflected on her time as administrator, in a statement she said “…This was a very difficult decision for me. I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredible team that truly cares about the people in our community. I’m very grateful for the relationships I’ve built and the opportunity I’ve had to serve the residents of Washington County, and I wish the agency and staff continued success in the important work they do.” 

Roberts has been with Public Health for seven years, the last two years as administrator. She will be taking a role at Washington County Hospital and Clinics as a nurse.
