Lone Tree senior guard Finley Jacque has been named the Player of the Year in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division.

Jacque led the conference this season with 460 total points, third in conference with 83 assists, fourth with 104 steals, second in field goals made with 153, and second in three-pointers made with 57. Jacque came one point away from breaking Lone Tree’s single-season record for total scoring, currently held by Dawn Rayner from the 1991-1992 season.

Lone Tree head coach Ryan Shelman says Jacque was a special talent who will be missed by the program. “Her shooting, her ballhanding, her leadership is going to be missed by us, but she’s a phenomal player, and she’s very deserving of that first-team all-conference as well as player of the year. Again, she’s a phenomenal talent and we’re glad she was on our team.”

Jacque ends her career as the third leading scorer in Lone Tree girls basketball history with 1497 points, and the all-time leader in three pointers made with 196.
