
Archers from Washington High School, Washington Middle School, and Lincoln Elementary traveled to Mount Pleasant February 28th for a bullseye dual against the Panthers.
At the high school level, the Demons shot 3270 as a team. Zach Hotchkiss was the boys individual winner with a 288 and 19 tens. Hunter Barnes was runner-up with a 286 and 16 tens. Mason Pierce and Layne Moore picked up top five finishes by placing fourth and fifth. Meanwhile, Hailey Curtis was the girls individual winner with a personal best 276 and 12 tens. Charlee Reed was the runner up with a 274 and 9 tens. Hannah Lipski, Sophie Wittmayer, and Destiny Moyer finished in third, fourth, and fifth respectively, with the latter two also recording personal best.
The middle school Demons shot a 3131 as a team. Jordan Thorius was the boys individual winner with a 281 and 13 tens. Jayce Thorius and Braxton Rich finished in the top five. Kenzie Vargas was the girls individual winner, recording a personal best 265 and 9 tens. Addyson Near, Miriam Pierce, and Harper Horn placed third, fourth, and fifth.
Finally, the Lincoln Elementary Demons shot a 2822. The boys swept the top five spots, with Rowan Ayrit taking the top spot with a personal best 259 and 5 tens. Owen Gellerstedt was the runner-up, also scoring a 259, but with 4 tens. Timothy Dewell, Enness Abozena, and Diego Gonzalez rounded out the top five. Rosalie Montz was the girls individual winner with a personal best 238 and 4 tens. Everly Gellerstedt was the runner-up, also recording a personal best at 230 with 6 tens. Tinley Timmins, Emma Timmins, and Brylee Carlin all finished in the top five.
