The Winfield-Mt. Union boys basketball team spent their winter making things miserable for opponents. The Wolves ranked in the top 10 of Class 1A boys basketball in takeaways.
WMU was 10th in the state with 11.9 steals per night. A trio of Wolves finished with 50 or more, led by senior Max Edwards with 62. Juniors Cody Milks and Isaac Egli were next with 59 and 50 respectively.
The Wolves finished with a 13-8 overall record, their fifth year-in-a-row with double digit wins.
