
The Sigourney girls’ basketball team saw three selections to the South Iowa Cedar League’s all-conference teams.
Brynn Clarahan was a unanimous selection to the first-team. The sophomore was ranked second in Class 2A with 573 total points, and also led 2A with 176 steals. Clarahan also ranked within the top five in the SICL for rebounds and assists and converted three-pointers.
The Savages also earned two honorable mentions. Junior Bailey Gretter got the nod after a season in which she scored 224 total points, and recorded 98 rebounds, 46 steals, and 38 assists. Gretter ranked ninth in the SICL in made threes. Finally, sophomore Ella Bruns earned an honorable mention after scoring 75 points, 73 rebounds, 28 assists and 27 steals.
Sigourney finished 15-9 this season, 10-6 in conference under head coach Kaylee Weber.
