A new Washington Chamber member is bringing something sweet to Washington this Thursday.
The Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois are bringing a cookie brunch to Washington. The Girl Scouts are hosting an open house style event on March 11th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Washington Public Library. They are inviting local professionals and community members to stop in, enjoy a cup of coffee, and sample this year’s favorite cookies.
Guests can visit with local girl scouts, learn more about the impact of the program in Washington County, and explore ways businesses and community members can support the organization. They will also highlight how Girl Scouts can give back by partnering with and supporting local businesses.
The goal of the event is to build stronger connections, increase program visibility within Washington County schools and communities, and continue growing opportunities for local girls to develop leadership, confidence, and life skills.
