
A months-long undercover investigation led to an arrest and felony charge.
The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Dylan Lumsden of Wever on February 18th on the charge of dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to a minor and grooming, a class D felony.
This arrest resulted after a seven-month investigation by the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office. According to court records, Lumsden believed that he was speaking with a 15-year old female, but was actually communicating with an undercover investigator.
The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office.
Lumsden’s arraignment hearing has been set for March 13th, and will be held in the Louisa County Courthouse.
