Another big year for the Sigourney girls basketball program landed them among the best in the state by the numbers.
The Savages were efficient offensively, committing just 12 turnovers per game, seventh fewest in Class 2A. Their 229 made free throws as a team were 10th most in the state.
Individually, sophomore Brynn Clarahan led the state with 174 total steals. She also finished fourth in 2A with 536 points, 199 total made shots and 96 made free throws.
The Savages finished with a 15-9 overall record, 10-6, fourth in the South Iowa Cedar League.
