A pair of local athletics standouts will represent Southeast Iowa at this year’s Pizza Ranch Iowa Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Games. Mid-Prairie’s Bryce Henry has been selected as one of 12 members of the Southeast Iowa team. Henry led Mid-Prairie averaging 17 points and six rebounds per game this year. His 72 made threes were sixth most in Class 2A this season. He finished third on the school’s all-time scoring list with 1,189 career points. Henry is a multi-time All-River Valley, All-District and Class 2A All-State performer.

Washington Demon head coach Colin Stark will be on the sidelines for the event. He has been chosen along with Jared Galpin of Solon to coach the Southeast Iowa boys team. Stark and the Demons went 13-11 this season. In seven years at Washington, he has compiled an 87-73 overall record with three Southeast Conference Championships. This year’s Southeast Iowa team also includes Jack McGuire from Pella, Carter Light of Davenport Central, Ethan Headings of Iowa City West, Shay Stephens of Burlington Notre Dame, Talan Becker of Muscatine, Hudson Krukow of Central DeWitt, Drake Larson of Knoxville, Brady Boulton of Montezuma, Max Griffin of Mediapolis, Jayden Harris of West Branch, and Jaxon Clark of Keokuk. All-Star teams from the southeast, southwest, northeast and northwest portions of the state will meet in the Pizza Ranch All-Star Series Saturday, March 28th at Dallas Center Grimes High School.
