
A chance of winter weather is returning to the area this weekend.
According to the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities, there is a slight chance of snow today, and then a greater chance of snow Sunday into Sunday evening.
There is a 40 percent chance of snow after noon on Sunday, with a high temperature near 35 degrees. Sunday night, snow is likely, mainly before midnight. The low temperature will be around 21 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent, with a new snow accumulation of one to two inches possible.
When driving in winter weather remember to slow down and use caution, it is sometimes hard to tell if the road will be slick.
