The high school leadership team, 4-H County Council, hosted this event. They were responsible for set up and tear down but the fun part was for those volunteering throughout the evening. Their evening included running the photobooth with nonstop instant printing, snack refills, game playing, and dancing. Volunteers that evening included Allie Whetstine, Emma Taylor, Madi Liska, Averi Janecek and Adelyn Huston.

The Me and My VIP Sweetheart Dance held February 21st saw 105 couples take to the floor.

This annual event is hosted by the Washington 4-H County Council, and was held at the KC Hall in Washington. The evening was open to kindergarten through fourth graders and special adult VIPs in their life. The VIPs included fathers, mothers, grandparents, neighbors, older siblings and more.

This year’s event saw record-breaking attendance. Each couple had the opportunity to pose at a photo booth and were able to take home a framed keepsake photo. The night included dancing, refreshments, corsages, and fun. Pictures from the evening can be viewed on the Washington County 4-H Facebook Page.

Proceeds will be used for other 4-H hosted events in the coming year.
