This week’s KCII Area Athlete of the Week is Sigourney-Keota boys wrestler Owen Menke. The Savage senior qualified for the 2026 Iowa High School Athletic Association Tradition State Tournament by winning the heavyweight district championship in his home gym. Once at the Casey’s Center in Des Moines, Menke finished on the podium as a fifth-place medalist. Congratulations Owen!
