A pair of Sigourney-Keota bowling brothers took over the lanes at Cadillac XBC in Waterloo Tuesday at the Iowa High School Athletic Association State Bowling Championships.

SK senior Wells Clark had the top score of the pair at 697, finishing 9th in the individual field, just missing out on quarterfinal bracket play. The bracket play cutoff was 699, rolled by Chase Fecher of Greene County. Top overall prelim score came from Lucas Clark of Waterloo Columbus at 754. Top score in Clark’s three-game-series was his opener at 258. He advanced to State as the State Meet Qualifier Champion at the Central Lee site.

SK junior Owen Clark finished 20th of 32 with his score of 646, throwing a series best 232 in his final game of three. He was third at the Qualifier meet at Central Lee to advance.
