There were four area wrestlers that finished strong at the 2026 Iowa high school boys state wrestling tournament last week. 

Washington’s Caden Greiner finished in fourth place. 

The WACO Warriors saw Ian Maize finish as a state runner-up. 

Sigourney-Keota Savages had two make the podium with Owen Menke finishing fifth and Ryker VanDenHeuvel finishing in eighth place.

The 2026 Iowa High School Athletic Association State Wrestling Tournament was held at the Casey’s Center in Des Moines, February 18th through the 21st.
