A Washington man was arrested on two Washington County warrants after a fight broke out in a residence on Saturday.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday, the Washington Police Department responded to a report of a fight in the 1000 block of West Madison Street in Washington, and one subject was allegedly hit in the face with a board. Officers arrested 38-year-old Preston Enlow on two Washington County warrants. The first warrant was for possession of a controlled substance second offense, an aggravated misdemeanor; the second was for possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

These charges stem from an arrest that occurred in October of last year. Enlow also has a warrant out of Keokuk County for failure to appear. Assault charges have yet to be filed for Saturday’s arrest.
