Two people were arrested in August in Washington on multiple charges including conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, and their trial date has recently been set. 

According to the Washington Police Department, on August 23rd, officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of South 4th Avenue and Washington Street. Authorities arrested 36-year old Teresa Moore of Kinross and 36-year old Lucas Koehler of Washington.

Moore and Koehler were each charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamines, a class B felony; possession of a controlled substance marijuana first offense, a serious misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

According to court records, Koehler and Moore were found to “unlawfully manufacture, deliver or possess with intent to manufacture or deliver, a controlled substance to-wit: more than five grams of a substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine.” Officers also discovered a scale, baggies, and a “large sum of money.” 

The trial has been set for March 24th, and both Koehler and Moore have plead not guilty.
