Two members of the Riverside Volunteer Fire Department received Life Saving CPR awards for their actions during an incident last December.
On December 27, RFD was called to the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort to perform life-saving CPR on a visitor. Crew members Toby Hancock and Tonia Rebling performed the procedure and patient care, saving the visitor’s life. Due to their quick response and excellent patient care, Hancock and Rebling were awarded a Life Saving CPR award by Riverside Fire Chief Chad Smothers and the security director of Riverside Casino.
The RFD crew was also assisted by Washington County Ambulance and casino security.
