It’s the final week of Fiber Arts February, and there are still things to see in downtown Washington.
Quilting, crocheting, weaving, and more have been featured throughout the month with the Washington Public Library’s annual Fiber Arts February celebration. The public is invited to visit the library as the month of programs and displays finishes up.
Fiber artist Grace Tully will be back in the library on Thursday as a living window exhibit, demonstrating the art of spinning yarn, “Come down, sit with me, talk with me, bring whatever you are working on. Go down and squish the yarn, play with the hemp dish towels. Just come and see.”
The final day for Fiber Arts February is this Friday and visitors of the library can see exhibits of various fiber creations.
