A public hearing will be held Tuesday at the Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting for a proposed subdivision. 

The purpose of the hearing is to consider an application for approval of a subdivision of an existing tract in the unincorporated area of Washington County. 

The proposed subdivision is located on Riverside Road, approximately one mile west of Spruce Avenue and one and a quarter mile north of 170th Street. This tract of land is proposed to be divided into three lots for the purpose of building new residences. 

Also on the agenda for the supervisors is an employee’s years of service recognition, a discussion regarding an appointment to the Assessor Examining Board, and a letter of support for community project funding to develop the Iowa Drought Information System. 

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in Orchard Hill building three.
