The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on two warrants Thursday.
They arrested 45-year old Daymun Schadt of Washington on violation of probation on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine.
Court records show in November of 2021 through a plea agreement, Schadt was convicted of possession with intent to deliver up to five grams of methamphetamine, a class C felony, while charges of possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, a class D felony, and violation of a no contact order, and possession of drug paraphernalia, both simple misdemeanors, were dismissed. A 10-year prison sentence was suspended for Schadt to be placed on five years probation.
Schadt failed to make any payments towards his court ordered financial obligation. As of January 28, 2026, he owes nearly $2,000. He was also directed to complete a substance abuse evaluation due to drug use. As of January 28, 2026, he has not provided to officials verification that this has been completed.
He is currently being held in the Washington County Jail on a $15,000 bond. A court date has yet to be set.
