Washington County Hospital and Clinics will be constructing a new Bean’s Pharmacy in Washington. 

The Washington City Council approved the site plan of the new construction project at their Tuesday meeting. 

The new building will be constructed at 304 East Washington Street and Bean’s Pharmacy will move to that location north of City Hall. As part of the project, the former Federation Bank drive-in building will be removed at 220 East Washington, and that lot will be used for employee parking. 

The City’s Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the site plan on February 10th and voted to forward the plan to the council with a recommendation of passing it. 

The council approved the project unanimously, and construction is scheduled to begin this spring.
