
A Brazilian guitarist is coming to Washington as part of the Washington Performing Arts Series.
On Monday, February 23rd at 7 p.m., at the Washington Area Performing Arts and Event Center (WAPAEC) is hosting a performance by guitarist, Diego Figueiredo.
Figueiredo blends Jazz, Bossa Nova, and Classical music. His performances are known for their energy, and artistry. Hailing from Franca, Brazil, Figueiredo has performed in over 40 countries and built a global fanbase with his signature style.
Tickets are available online or at the door and are $20 for adults, $10 for college students, and free for students grades 12 and under.
The center is a joint venture of the Washington Community School District and the City of Washington. The facility was created with funding from many local donors, a school bond levy and major support from the Washington Riverboat Foundation and the Vision Iowa Community Attraction and Tourism Fund.
