This week’s KCII Area Athletes of the Week are a Washington boys wrestling senior trio. Demons Caden Greiner, Brayden Vermillion and Rudy Wolfe qualified for the 2026 Iowa High School Athletic Association Traditional State Wrestling Championships at the Casey’s Center in Des Moines with their performance at the District meet Saturday at Williamsburg. Greiner qualified for State as the 138lb district champion with Vermillion and Wolfe qualifying as District runners-up at 215lbs and heavyweight respectively. Congratulations Caden, Brayden and Rudy!
