The Louisa-Muscatine Falcons hosted their home girls wrestling tournament with the Washington Demons, WACO Warriors and Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union Wildcats in attendance.
The Demons led the local trio in the team standings, placing 10th of 19 schools with 67.5 points. Burlington took the team title with 215 points. Washington crowned a champion with Ryha Wellington rolling through her bracket at 140lbs, including a championship match fall over Bryn Stephens of North Scott. The Demons had three finish in fifth including Nora Stoutner at 115lbs, Bella Venenga at 145lbs and Colbie Greiner at 155lbs.
For the WACO Warriors it was a 15th place finish with 22 points. Makayla Morrison was the leader at 120lbs finishing third.
Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union was 17th with nine points and paced by a fourth place day for Jada Moats at 190lbs.
