Over $8,000 was raised for the Washington Fire Department in a local fuel fundraiser. 

On Friday, February 6, representatives from Agriland FS presented a check for $8,550 to the Washington Fire Department at Washington High School during halftime of the boys’ varsity basketball game. 

These funds were raised during the Fuel Up & Give Back pilot program where three cents for every gallon of gas and diesel fuel sold at the Washington Fast Stop location was donated directly to the fire department. The department will determine how the funds will be used.
