The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys wrestling team found success at their River Valley Conference quad Thursday at Bellevue. The Hawks scored wins over Northeast Goose Lake 42-30 and Camanche 36-30 before dropping a dual to the home Comets 35-24. Golden Hawk leaders on the day included Brock Fisher at 3-0 with three pins. Max Kipp was unbeaten with a pair of pins, and a 3-0 day for Tommy Miller with a fall. Will Snider closed out 2-1 with a pin. The Golden Hawks are now 3-9 on the dual season and travel to the Gary Curtis Invitational at Highland Saturday.
