The City of Washington parks master plan information is on display at the Washington Public Library for the public to view.
City Administrator Joe Gaa spoke about the next steps of the plan, “The boards from that (master plan), the first few just talk about the process. These are the results, we are going to move those to the library, we will have them up there for a while so folks can see them. Probably either the second meeting of January or the first meeting of February is when the full report will be on the [city council] agenda for approval.”
The City had planned an open house for the public to view the park’s master plan information on December 11th, but snowy weather cancelled that event. The City began the Parks Master Plan in August. The finalized document will be used for financial planning of parks capital projects over the next several years.
