The Columbus/Winfield-Mt. Union boys wrestling team was on the mat last week in Keosaqua for a quad against Iowa Valley, Wapello and the home Van Buren Warriors. The Wildcats scored victories over the Indians 48-27, and the Warriors 60-24 before falling to the Tigers 55-24.

Wildcat highlights included Ronaldo Villegas, Bowen Thomson and Angel Ineichen 3-0 with a pair of pins each. Jaiden Beeding was 2-0 with a pair of pins, Shwe Oo was 2-0 with a pin. Kason Dopler was 2-1 with a pair of falls, and Dakota Aney and Justin Knipfer each went 2-1 with one pin.
