The Washington School Board approved the completion of a tuckpointing project at Lincoln Elementary School. This work was initially planned for the summer of 2025, but due to other work needed at the middle school, the funding was moved and the project was postponed.

Superintendent Willie Stone shared details about the project, “We wanted to make sure we tuckpointed the whole gym, the whole aux gym at the middle school, and just did it while they were there. It saved us a bunch of money by doing it that way. Instead of leaving there to go to work, and then paying them to go back over there and set up again.”

The board approved a payment of $90,000 to Seedorff Masonry to finish the tuckpointing at Lincoln Elementary during the summer of 2026.
