A pair of KCII listening area boys wrestling teams were on the mat in Riverside when Highland entertained Lone Tree and Louisa-Muscatine on Senior Night. The home Huskies were a 71-6 winner over the Lions and fell to L-M 52-28. Undefeated wrestlers for Highland included Landon Sweeting, Tyler Pierson, Jarrett Brackin and Jose Ramirez. Sweeting, Pierson and Ramirez each had a pin, Brackin had a 15-2 major decision.

Lone Tree’s two dual scores were a 71-6 loss to Highland and 65-6 to L-M. Tate Nelson collected both of the Lone Tree contested match wins on the night scoring a pair of pins.

The Huskies honored two seniors Brock Thomann and Keaton Van Schoyck with a ceremony during the meet.
