The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls wrestling team competed at the Dan Gable Donnybrook at Xtream Arena in Coralville, a marquee tournament featuring athletes from six Midwest states.

The Hawks were led by senior Ellie Callahan’s sixth place tournament at 190lbs. She finished with an overall record of 3-2 with a pair of pins and a 9-0 major decision.

Junior Austyn Sexton was seventh at 110lbs. She also went 3-2 with two pins and a tech fall.

Sophomore Layken Lee was 18^th with a 3-2 record at 145lbs. Lee finished with three pins in the tournament.

Freshman Etta Bell was 22^nd at 100lbs. She scored two wins by 15-13 and 7-1 decisions.
