Plenty of hardware is headed back to the trophy case in the Sigourney-Keota girls wrestling room after a big day at Saturday’s Vinton-Shellsburg tournament. SK took 11 athletes and all placed in the top five. Kia Montgomery won the title at 125lbs, capping a 3-0 day in contested matches and individual championship, with a fall over Camden Erhardt of the home Vikettes in the final. Other performers for the Savages included third for Kylee Draker at 235lbs, fourth each for Amelia Phillips, Aubrey Utterback, Izzy Heisdorffer, Melanie Woodsmall and Sadie Clarahan and fifth for Abyl McCulley, Layla Shilling, Madison Clarahan and Neveah Beinhart.
