The Lone Tree boys basketball team got in the win column for the first time on the season Monday, hosting New London in a 58-54 win. The Tigers controlled action early, leading 19-13 after one period and 30-23 at the break. Lone Tree’s halftime adjustments paid off as the Lions went on an 18-7 run that spanned the full third period to go on top 41-37 and finish off a four point win. Four got to double figures including Lion leaders Reece Holbrook with 18 points, John Daufeldt had 14, Domonic Garcia 13 and Cade Willoz 11. Lone Tree is now 1-2 on the year as New London remains winless.
