In a weather make-up the Holy Trinity Catholic boys basketball team took a road win at Bob Hilmer Court in Wayland over WACO 69-54. The first half was tight, featuring a 14-12 HTC lead after one, and a 28-27 advantage at intermission. The Crusaders found breathing room after break, winning the second stanza 41-27 in total. WACO shot 41% on the night and the Warriors finished with six made threes, 28 rebounds, 12 assists and 14 turnovers. Individually, three got to double figures, led by 15 points for Sam Meyer, 12 for Holden Hughes and 10 for Niles Reichenbach. Hughes led with eight rebounds, Reichenbach had four assists and Nick West four steals for WACO. The win was the first of the year for HTC as WACO drops to 1-1.
