Road construction that began on October 22nd in Washington County on 190th Street has been paused for the season, and the road is open to through traffic.
The Washington County Engineer’s office closed county road 190th Street to through traffic between Vine Avenue and Yucca Avenue, approximately three miles north of G36 (220th Street), for grading and resurfacing of the existing roadway.
The contract for this project was awarded to DeLong Construction of Washington for $480,145.93. DeLong Construction will restore the road cross-section and work to improve drainage and snow removal operations by cleaning out ditches and laying some slopes back.
Construction will continue in the spring.
