The Washington County Cattlemen’s Association is offering area teens and young adults three different opportunities. 

They will be selecting a Beef Queen and Princess. Requirements include an interest in beef cattle production, parents being involved with beef production, a willingness to promote beef as well as attend a school in the Washington County area. Girls between the ages of 14-18 can apply. 

A $2,000 scholarship will be presented to a graduating senior. Requirements include being a Washington County resident, parents being a Washington County Cattlemen’s member or if living outside the county, the applicant’s parents must be WCCA members. The award recipient must be majoring in an agricultural field. 

Washington County Cattlemen will be offering up to a $2,500 grant to a graduating high school senior or returning college student who is starting an operation or returning to the farm. All applications must be completed and submitted by January 4th, 2026.
