The Washington County Board of Supervisors will be discussing elected officials’ compensation at a work session this week. The discussion is set to be held after their regular meeting Tuesday morning.

The work session is scheduled to begin at 9:30. Last year, the board approved a 2.5% increase for elected officials.

On the regular meeting agenda is the approval of the Underwood railroad crossing 28E agreement with the City of Ainsworth, as well as the approval of a federal-aid agreement with the Iowa DOT for a bridge investment program project. These programs assist public road jurisdictions with funding for roads on Federal-aid routes, assist public road jurisdictions with funding for bridges on any public road, and provide funding for transit capital improvements.

The meeting is set to begin at 9 am in Orchard Hill Building three.
