The Washington Demons competed at the Iowa High School Esports Association State Tournament.

The Washington High School esports team took second place at state. The team members included Elijah Ide, David Ide, Snyder Ortega, Colin Fritz, Zak Abozena, KJ Piere, Tyler Burroughs, Alex McFarland, and Nate Schrock.

The Demons defeated Fairfield in round one. In round two they beat ELC. In the championship round they fell to Williamsburg.

The state tournament was held in Marshalltown on Friday.
