The Washington County Riverboat Foundation has announced its municipal grants for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Washington received $148,349.40, Kalona received $51,749.79, Wellman received $30,359.88, Riverside received $20,147.91, Brighton received $9,107.96, Ainsworth received $8,279.96, Crawfordsville received $5,519.97, and West Chester received $2,483.99.

In total, WCRF awarded $275,998.86 in this round of municipal grants. The fund amounts are allocated based on population to the incorporated cities of Washington County.

The municipal grant program distributes 25% of the WCRF’s revenue each quarter to each city in Washington County. The cities then designate its use on a case-by-case basis. Since 2006 WCRF has awarded $17,556,332 in municipal grants.
