This week’s KCII Athlete of the Week is Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball senior Jovi Evans. Evans was recently named First-Team All-State in Class 3A by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association and participated in the State-wide IGCA All-Star match. She was also a first team All-River Valley Conference selection, former RVC player of the year, hit milestones of 2000 career assists, and 1000 career kills and digs each. Evans was also part of a Golden Hawk program that set new records this year including their third straight conference title, third straight 30-win season and first ever back to back trips to the state tournament. Congratulations Jovi!
