WACO Warrior Josie Dykstra performed on the big stage earlier this month at the Iowa High School State Cross Country Championships in Fort Dodge. After placing 21st with her time of 19:54, out of more than 150 runners in the field, Dykstra has been named Class 1A All-State by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.
In order to reach All-State status, a runner must finish in the top 30 of their championship race in Fort Dodge.
