A fundraiser dinner that supports local homeless shelter efforts is being held in Washington this week. Tribulation and Trust Ministries in Washington will be hosting their 4th Annual Fundraiser Dinner and Auction this Friday, November 14th.

Pastor Darren Brown shares how Tribulation and Trust Ministries supports the community, “Tribulation and Trust Ministries is the umbrella ministry that oversees the Lighthouse Center, our local emergency housing shelter. It also oversees the storehouse food pantry. Which is a food pantry here in the county that takes care of between 40 and 70 families a week.”

Fundraiser attendees can enjoy a dinner provided by JYD’s and Tommy’s Helping Hands, featuring a choice of hand-breaded pork tenderloin or chicken strips, served with mashed potatoes and gravy, baked beans, green salad, rolls, and dessert.  A free will offering will be accepted to support the ministry’s ongoing work with the food pantry and the Lighthouse Center.

Throughout the evening, guests can browse and bid during the silent auction, with a live auction to follow after dinner. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at The Hope Center located at 219 West Washington in downtown Washington.
