This week’s KCII Football Athlete of the Week is Mid-Prairie Senior Kaden Kos. He’s one of the captains of the No. 3 ranked Golden Hawks that have advanced to the Quarterfinals of the Class 2A playoffs Friday against Van Meter, tying the deepest playoff run in school history. In 2025, Kos leads Class 2A in special teams touchdowns, he is fifth in receiving touchdowns, ninth in tackles for loss and 10th in total tackles. Kos is Mid-Prairie’s all-time school record holder for career tackles and receiving touchdowns. Congratulations Kaden!
