Get a head start on holiday shopping while supporting small local businesses with Main Street Washington’s ‘Pour Me Into the Holidays’ event. 

Downtown Washington invites shoppers to join the “Pour Me Into The Holidays” event. There will be two days of spirited shopping as businesses transform downtown into a holiday wonderland.

Participants can stroll through the decorated streets, and explore shops that are festive. While browsing, attendees can enjoy a variety of festive drinks and treats provided by participating businesses. Main Street Washington Executive Director Samantha Meyer shared more about what shoppers can expect, “So, this was kind of a fun take on traditional shop hops and just a little revamp of that. This is what our retail group came up with, so they’re really fun, and the pour is obviously we would like for you to have beverages while you shop. The 12 shops that are participating will have sangria, there’s spiked seltzers, there’s spiked cider. Pretty much everything that you want to drink, especially in the fall.”   

According to the Small Business Administration, small businesses account for 40% of our nation’s economic output. The event will be taking place on Friday, November 7th from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 8th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
