The Highland High School Vocal Music Department will perform its fall musical, “Mean Girls” on Friday and Saturday.

The musical is based on the 2002 movie starring Lindsay Lohan that received a movie musical adaptation in 2024 featuring Renee Rapp. The show focuses on new high school student Cady Herron finding her way while navigating high school drama and fitting in with the titular clique of “mean girls” called the Plastics. Cady will be played by Greta Piette.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday in the Highland High School Gym. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors and $8 for adults.
