The Keokuk County 4-H Youth Council hosted its annual awards night on Sunday at the Keokuk County Expo Fairground in Sigourney.

The following individuals received awards for their involvement in the club: 

Emmalyn Klein, outstanding first year member

Beau Snakenberg, outstanding junior member

Jayde Snakenberg, outstanding intermediate member

Carley Clarahan, outstanding senior member

Neela Thompson, junior citizenship award

Maleigh Eiben, intermediate citizenship award

Cole Millikin, senior citizenship award

Maesyn Bain, junior leadership award

Jayde Snakenberg, intermediate leadership award

Carley Clarahan, senior leadership award

Awards were also given for outstanding community volunteers, club communications, herdsmanship, and record book entries.

The club held a canned food drive during the awards night, in which over 175 canned goods were collected for local food shelters.
