The Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team saw their regional run come to an end in the quarterfinal round of the 1A tournament, dropping a match in straight sets to No. 4 Holy Trinity Catholic. The Lady Wolves were beaten by the Crusaders 25-11, 25-15 and 25-6. WMU stat-leaders included Katie Miller with 15 digs. Jayda Nicholas and Madisen Kellogg each had seven digs. Kellogg added five assists. Two kills and two aces each for Nichols and Quin Smith. Kaelyn Townsley had two blocks. With the loss, the Lady Wolves end their season at 17-11 and say goodbye to eight seniors including Jayda Nichols, Quin Smith, Kaelyn Townsley, Katie Miller, Kellee Milks, Kinsley Gunnison, Madisen Kellogg and Ella Kann.
