Golden Hawk co-head coaches Zeb and Sherry Evans joined the KCII Postgame show after the Hawk’s semi-final win over West Liberty to talk about the points of emphasis for Tuesday. “I think it’s scary for other teams that we can do that (put so many hitting weapons on the floor) and execute. We’re able to draw the block and make an open net for someone else. We need to keep moving the ball around the net and offensively, putting it away when we need to. Defensively, we have to pick up balls, scrap balls and never give up on anything. We need to have more of the same that you saw tonight. Stay disciplined on defense. We know them pretty well. We coach three, maybe four of the kids that they have. They’re good players. They’re coming to our place, and we’re good at home.”
